Wimborne NPT weekly update |
||
|
👮🏻♀️ Another busy week for our Wimborne NPT! It has been another varied week for the neighbourhood policing team, with plenty happening across the area. We've been carrying out patrols around Towers Way in Corfe Mullen following reports of anti-social behaviour. We know ASB can have a real impact on people living nearby, so we'll continue to spend time in the area and respond to the concerns being raised with us. Last night, we held a community contact point in Sturminster Marshall, giving local residents the chance to stop for a chat, raise any concerns and talk to us about what's happening in their community. Thank you to everyone who came over and spoke with us 👋🏻 Alongside our neighbourhood work, we've been supporting our response colleagues with incidents that have an impact on the local community, as well as working jointly with housing partners to tackle ongoing issues and find longer term solutions. We've also been out raising fraud awareness, helping people recognise some of the tactics used by fraudsters and sharing advice on how to protect themselves. Finally, two Community Resolutions have been issued this week. One in relation to a public order incident and another one following criminal damage. Community Resolutions are one of the ways we can deal proportionately with lower level offences while still ensuring appropriate action is taken. A bit of everything this week. Visible patrols, problem solving, partnership work and plenty of conversations with the people we serve 🚓 As always, if you see us out and about, come and say hello!
